Scholarships
Scholarship applications are now closed. Applicants will hear back from us in the next few weeks.
We are pleased to offer opportunity scholarships to RubyConf Mini, aimed at helping those who might not otherwise be able to attend. Scholarships are open to anyone, though we encourage women, people of color, and those with other underrepresented identities to apply.
Each scholarship includes:
A free ticket to RubyConf Mini
A volunteer guide who will help you get the most out of the conference
An invitation to a Scholars and Guides dinner to get to know your fellow scholarship recipients

Our scholarship program would not be complete without guides. Guides welcome scholars to the Ruby community and serve as their partners throughout the conference.
Guide responsibilities include:
Being available as a friendly face to your scholar throughout the conference
Recommending talks to your scholar based on their experience level and interests
Introducing your scholar to other members of the Ruby community
